Exploring Greek Myth

WITH JENNIFER SAINT & ANNA WHARTON

15th/16th JUNE 2023          Number of places: 8

Jennifer Saint is the Sunday Times bestselling author of three retellings of the Greek myths Ariadne, Elektra and forthcoming Atalanta. Jennifer is a Visiting Research Fellow in the Kings College London Classics department and a full time writer of feminist reinterpretations of ancient myths. Her novels have been translated in novels all over the world, and have been shortlisted for many prizes.

Join us for a retreat focusing on how we tell stories of Greek myths, how we make them appropriate for this modern age, and how we mine the classics for long-lost detail. There is a good reason why these stories have survived for generations, and during this retreat Jennifer will bring them to life with her own works, and help us unpack just what is so enduring about them.
